Android Device Manager Tips

Like iphone or ipad, our android device can activate search feature if we forgot to put or being stolen and want to know where is our android devices are. So if we can lock, erase the data from stolen android remotely.

First what we have to do is to activate Android Device Manager on android setting, it can be found default at Setting --> Security --. Android Device Manager (each device may be different). then if we want to search our device we can access https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager. Don't forget to use active Google account to activate this Android Device Manager. If you are have activate Gmail account and sign in, you can set your android device if you forgot android device or being stolen. another setting to activate this android device manager is to on the my location setting.

If we turn browser on PC and click https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager we can do set our device remotely. please insert username and password of gmail account. there is three feature on android device manager:

1. Ring : Device will be ring loudly if you forgot to put the device
2. Lock : to lock your device remotely and give message to someone who found or stole our device.
3. Erase : becareful with this choice because it could rease all data on your device. use it wisely if your device is really stolen.
